Resolution rules
Each outcome is a separate contract with its own rules. The rules for Before Jan 1, 2029:
If damages settlement funds in House v. NCAA (In re College Athlete NIL Litigation) are distributed to at least one member of the Damages Settlement Classes before Jan 1, 2029, then the market resolves to Yes. A distribution counts on the date the claims administrator, or anyone acting under a court order in the case, transmits a damages payment to a class member, including a partial, interim or test payment and a payment made while an appeal is pending. An order authorizing distribution does not count on its own, nor do deposits into escrow, attorneys' fees, administrative costs, revenue-sharing or other payments under the injunctive relief settlement, or payments from the Hubbard v. NCAA settlement.
