Each outcome is a separate contract with its own rules. The rules for Before Jul 1, 2027:
If a U.S. state other than Texas, Florida or Rhode Island has banned, suspended or paused law enforcement use of Flock Safety or other automated license plate reader cameras after Issuance and before Jul 1, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes. A qualifying action is enacted legislation, an executive order, a court order applying statewide, or a binding directive from a state official or agency with statewide authority, that prohibits, suspends or pauses the installation or operation of Flock Safety or other automated license plate reader cameras by law enforcement. Any action by Texas, Florida or Rhode Island does not count, including further or expanded action by those states. The following count: A statewide ban or moratorium on new law enforcement ALPR installations A statewide order pausing or suspending operation of cameras already installed A ban or pause that covers only state roads or other state-owned property, or only state agencies A binding directive from a state official with statewide authority, even where it reaches state agencies such as the state police in the first instance A measure with a delayed effective date, so long as the action itself is taken before the market's date The following do NOT count: Action by a city, county, school district or any other political subdivision rather than the state Conditions on use rather than a prohibition, suspension or pause, including purpose limits, data retention limits, warrant requirements, audit requirem…
