Resolution rules
Each outcome is a separate contract with its own rules. The rules for Democratic party:
If the Democratic party wins the Vermont House in 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. Winning is defined as holding more seats than any other party two weeks after the Vermont House is sat for the session following the election. If both parties are tied, then the market resolves to No. This market is also eligible for accelerated determination after a consensus of media organizations project the winner. See full rules for details. A member elected on more than one party’s line counts only for the party listed first in their designation on the Vermont General Assembly member roster (e.g., “Democrat/Progressive” counts for the Democratic party, “Progressive/Democrat” for the Progressive party and “Republican/Democrat” for the Republican party).
